• One main image normally surrounded by text, or parallel with the text.
• Always a drop capital to start the article off
• Always a standfirst paragraph, the small paragraph underneath the article masthead to give the reader an insight into what the article is about.
• There is always the use of a drop quote, which is a memorable quote from the interview with the person shown in the image to show what can be said in the article.
• All the double page spreads have quotes from either the person who is in the image or the band in the image, or sometimes interviews with people about the subject of the article.
• Always a distinct colour scheme
